3) Ways to expel ants out of your house

First, use baking soda and powdered sugar. Put the same amount of baking soda and powdered sugar in a lid. Put the mixings at the spots where there are ants. After ants eat baking soda, they will die after baking soda meets with an acidic material in their chest.

Second, use Borax and corn syrup. Mix the same amount of Borax and corn syrup together and put it on a piece of cardboard. The bait will attract ants, as they love eating corn syrup. After eating the bait, they will be killed by the Borax.

Third, use diatomaceous earth. Spread some diatomaceous earth to the spots that ants often occur. Ants will be dehydrated and lose their lives after eating diatomaceous earth, but those in the nest won’t be affected. So it is not applicable if there are a lot of ants in your home.

Fourth, use gel ant baits. Gel ant baits are sweet, which is the favorite of ants, so it is effective to use gel ant baits to kill ants. Put gel in the spots where there are ants. Note that you should put the baits in the spots where your kids or pets can’t reach. You can also choose fully enclosed plastic baits, which are safe for pets and kids.

Fifth, use castile soap. Mix about 100 ml of Castile liquid soap and 1 liter of water together and spray it to the spots where ants march around. The ants will lost their lives after contacting it, but the ones in the nest won’t be affected.
